Day 46
Good morning!
Charlos had a tough night of neuro storming with sweating and elevated vitals but no real high fever for which we are thankful! Currently, Los has been resting for the past 3+ hours, sweating has stopped, and his vitals are stable and read well.
Our big win yesterday was that Los passed the 72-hour mark of being off his ventilator; they even removed it from his room! He is now at 89 hours ‘ventilator free’ and breathing strong at 28% oxygen which is the lowest setting for this system; we all breathe at 21% oxygen so he is doing great with that!
Please pray today that Charlos’s brain heals well so that his consciousness increases to where he is aware of his surroundings, responds to requests and that this storming at night ceases so Los rest through the night tonight and be awake during the day.
