Charlos Update June 02, 2025
Jaw surgery went great! Drs are happy with the result. CT scan from this AM show things unchanged (same “no news is good news” there) Propofol is all the way weaned off, and he is handling that well so far. Lung specialist update- Oxygen levels are looking good. And he has started weaning Los off oxygen as well with lungs looking OK on that side of things. He says this morning that it looks like Los is already triggering a good amount of his own breaths and he wants to start lowering the ventilator support, and having ventilator support [...]

Update 7:40am from nurse (Kevin) Trauma surgeon was in early morning and confirmed everything on that side of things continues to look good. Jaw surgery still on track for 10am today please Pray. Will be wired shut for ~1 month The plan following surgery (later today and into tomorrow) will be to try and wean him off the sedation meds. Another “no news is [...]

(DAI is the tearing of axon fibers that are responsible for communicating with the neurons - which are responsible for telling the body what to do on command) he has very small signs of the tearing of neurons in the top, middle, and bottom of [...]
